Located along the Youghiogheny River half way between Ohiopyle and Pittsburgh, West Newton's 200 year+ history has seen industries come and go. Not unlike other Western PA towns, West Newton experienced a shift of businesses away from its main street and business districts over the past several decades.
Today, as a GAP trail town, West Newton is on the edge of a renaissance. Forged on the Yough celebrates the eco-tourism the river and trail provide to outfitters and small businesses of West Newton.
Ticket Details
- Beer tickets require identification for 21+. Designated Driver tickets available at no charge thanks to a sponorship from The Gun Rack.

- Ticket includes 5oz commemorative glass with unlimited tastings.

- Raffles: Ran by the West Newton Volunteer Fire Department and Downtown West Newton.
- Blacksmith demonstration on site by Takach Forge Custom Knives.
- Food available from Comin' in Hot BBQ, Iron City Eats, and Gingerbread House Bakery
